Containment

Held asleep inside a recovery pod, the unconscious child dreams. Dreams of all the futures they can never have.

This piece took me five days. Not the number of hours in five days, it was simply completed over the course of five days, as school and homework and extracurricular activities got in the way of completion. It is a redraw of a scene from the show Amphibia, a show I love dearly. One of the main characters, Marcy Wu, floats in a recovery pod after being attacked by the antagonist, King Andrias. I thought the glimpse we got of Marcy in the pod would be fun to draw, so I redrew the scene with one of my characters in place of Marcy.
